What we do
The Permits Division oversees guidelines, procedures, and permits for all development within the Parish.
Contact the Permits Office to:
- verify items requiring a permit
- request copies of the elevation certificates
- review floodplain permit requirements
- report illegal floodplain development
- request a FEMA/NFIP nonconversion agreement
Permit applications can be submitted in person to the Permit Office from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Permit applications can be submitted online at any time. Review the permit refund policy before submitting an application.
