Gravity Drainage

The Drainage Division was formed to meet the growing need for protection from flooding caused by rain and storms such as tropical depressions and hurricanes.

Gravity Drainage provides the following services:

• clean roadside ditches
• clean culverts and catch basins
• inspect and video culverts for damage and obstructions
• have two assigned crews to inspect/clean catch basin inlets throughout the parish
• give sizes for culverts
• install culverts in ditches
