What We Do
Two separate levels of operations fall within the Department of Public Works. The first is the Operations of Fleet, Forced and Gravity Drainage, and Telemetry. The second is the Operations of Animal Control, Bridges, Government Facilities, and Roads. Each level has its own set of responsibilities and functions.
The Operations of Fleet, Forced and Gravity Drainage, and Telemetry is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the drainage systems, fleet vehicles, and telemetry systems within the Parish. This includes ensuring that the drainage systems are functioning properly, maintaining the fleet vehicles in good working condition, and monitoring the telemetry systems to ensure accurate data collection.
