Animal Shelter to Offer Adoption Discounts Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017
The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is hosting a mega-adoption event on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, to celebrate one year in their new building located at 100 Government St. in Gray.
The shelter will offer special adoption pricing, and the event will feature activities for kids, music, and adoptable animals from the shelter and local rescues.
Cat adoptions will be $25, and dog adoptions will be $50 on Oct. 14 only. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the shelter. Pictures can be viewed on the shelter’s Facebook page and Petfinder.com.
Adoption fees include:
- health exam
- vaccinations
- dewormer
- appropriate testing
- microchip (including registration)
- spay/neuter
- one month supply of flea prevention
- one month supply of heartworm prevention (dogs only)
- Starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet food
