To date there are no known cases of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Terrebonne Parish. Accordingly, officials with Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government are working closely with and receiving updates from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH) and the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP). Local officials have also met with area health care leaders, law enforcement agencies, and first responders to communicate proper protocols in the event of a local EVD case.
