Chili Cook Off for Downtown Houma Beautification
The Main Street Program/Houma Downtown Development Corporation will be having a Chili Cook Off on Saturday January 28th, 2012. The gates will open at 12:00pm at the court house square; $5.00 wrist band will allow you to try everyone’s chili. We will have hotdogs for the kids and local music. 100% of the proceeds will go towards project, “Beautification Main Street.” We are working to design and implement Bulb-outs, which will dress up the sidewalks in the downtown area.
Please feel free to call if you have any questions and or would like to participate in the cook off. The cost per team is $100.00 and each team should prepare enough Chili for 50 servings, an average of 4 ounces each.
