Upcoming Roadwork on Estate Drive
Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government would like to inform you about upcoming roadway improvements on Estate Drive, scheduled to take place from August 3, 2026, to August 17, 2026. Our Roads Division is committed to enhancing your safety and driving experience, and we appreciate your support as we complete these necessary upgrades.
Project Timeline:
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
- End Date: August 17, 2026
- Location: Estate Drive, between West Park Avenue and Rosanna Avenue
Reason for Improvements:
TPCG will be putting crossovers midway of the current crossovers starting with the median closer to West Park Ave. Currently, Estate Drive has three turnaround areas roughly 1,000 feet apart, which can be inconvenient and create unnecessary risks. The project aims to address safety concerns caused by vehicles driving the wrong way on either side of the existing median. By making these improvements, we hope to create a safer and more efficient roadway for all residents and drivers.
Traffic Changes:
- One lane of Estate Drive (between West Park Avenue and Rosanna Avenue) will be closed during construction.
- All motorists will be directed to share the remaining open lane.
- Please use extra caution while traveling through the work zone and anticipate possible delays.
