Cleanest City Contest Route
The Cleanest City Contest is scheduled for March 29-30, 2011. Judges will be in Houma March 30th. The Terrebonne Garden Club and Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government Administration urges everyone in the City of Houma to “spruce up” their property for this competition. Although the judges will drive a designated route they may also travel throughout the city as well. “Litter” is the major issue that is judge. They actually count the pieces of litter. Judges also look for overall cleanliness and neatness in a city. Should you have questions or would like to volunteer to help with the cleanup efforts call Linda Henderson at 985-873-6816.
