*UPDATED* West-Bound Houma Twin Span Bridge Closed for Maintenance Jan. 26 to Jan. 28

The west-bound side of the Houma Twin Span Bridge (East Park Ave. or LA 659) will be closed to vehicular traffic for the weekend starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019, until 5 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019.
This closure to vehicular traffic is needed to allow LADOTD's contractor to perform structural repair work to the existing expansion joint. Should the contractor finish the work prior to listed time above, the west-bound lanes shall be opened early.
Alternates routes available for crossing the Intercoastal Waterway are:
- LA 3087 (Prospect Overpass)
- LA 3040 (Houma Tunnel)
- LA 315 (Dularge Bridge)
