Foundation for TGMC to Host Derby on the Bayou May 5, 2018
The Foundation for TGMC will hold Derby on the Bayou from 2 to 6 p.m on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Orange Grove Plantation at 4107 Bayou Black Drive, Houma, LA. Celebrating both the Kentucky Derby as well as Cinco de Mayo, this afternoon event features a live stream of the Kentucky Derby in addition to a Grandest Hat Contest, a bourbon tasting, and margaritas and mint juleps.
Funds raised by the event will benefit the Foundation for TGMC to purchase a Wellness on Wheels mobile health unit to be used to conduct blood drives, concussion testing at local high schools, and many other educational or testing-related activities.
